You choose how you engage!

The BME PTO meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6pm at the school. During these meetings, you will hear updates about the school from Principal Hundley, learn about volunteer opportunities, and hear updates about fundraisers and events. 

Key Benefits of Attending:

• You get to know other BME parents and guardians
• You hear directly from the principal about matters pertaining to your children

The PTO uses committees to get things done! You can join a committee for the various fundraisers and activities the PTO hosts. Examples include Jog-A-Thon, Book Fair and the BME Bash. 

Key Benefits of Joining a Committee:

• You can directly contribute to the success of the activity or fundraiser
• An opportunity to use your knowledge, skills, and connections to help your kids' school

Each year, the PTO elects a new slate of board members. This includes executive positions like President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. We also have important roles to lead committees for major activities, like Jog-A-Thon, the BME Bash, and Student Engagement. Learn more about the current board on the About Us page. 

Key Benefits to Joining the Board:

• You have a chance to execute on your ideas for the PTO
• You are able to partner with the school leadership (Principal/Assistant Principal)

The PTO runs on volunteers! Not sure if you want to jump in and lead a committee or the board? You can volunteer to help with any fundraiser or event.
